Legislator Al Krupski and ELIH Foundation Golf Committee Co-Chairs Honor Healthcare Heroes

On Wednesday, October 21, 2020, Legislator Al Krupski joined Eastern Long Island Hospital (ELIH) Foundation Golf Committee Co-Chairs Walter Krupski and David Fujita in presenting the 28th Annual Golf Classic Honorees— Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital (SBELIH) Healthcare Heroes— with a proclamation and a plaque for their efforts in the fight against COVID-19.

This presentation on the hospital lawn was coordinated in lieu of the traditional dinner and awards ceremony following the Golf Classic, held on Monday, October 5, 2020 at North Fork Country Club. The 2020 event raised $134,000 to benefit SBELIH, with 165 golfers in participation and a record number of sponsorships.

“We commend you for the sacrifices you’ve made to ensure this community’s care and safety” says Walter Krupski, Co-Chair of the ELIH Foundation Golf Classic Committee.

“Thank you for your commitment to your patients and our loved ones,” said David Fujita, Co-Chair of the ELIH Foundation Golf Classic Committee.

The 29th Annual Golf Classic is scheduled for Monday, June 7, 2021 and will be honoring Jack and Maggie Biggane of the Mollie Biggane Melanoma Foundation.
