Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital (SBELIH) is a premier provider of behavioral healthcare and substance use treatment for Eastern Long Island and Suffolk County. SBELIH is Suffolk County’s only facility offering integrated care encompassing detoxification, rehabilitation and psychiatric services, along with medical services. Quannacut Outpatient Services offers compassionate, evidence-based care for individuals facing substance use and mental health challenges. Through personalized treatment plans, patients have access to outpatient counseling, psychiatric services, medication-assisted treatment, primary care, telehealth appointments, and specialized care for co-occurring disorders. As an Office of Mental Health-licensed clinic, Quannacut provides comprehensive behavioral health services that support recovery, resilience, and long-term wellness for individuals and families throughout Eastern Long Island.

SBELIH’s Inpatient Psychiatry Program provides comprehensive, short-term acute psychiatric care for adults in a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment. Delivered by an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, social workers, and recreation therapists, treatment is tailored to each patient's unique needs and may include psychiatric evaluation, medication management, individual and group therapy, and discharge planning. Licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health and accredited by The Joint Commission, the program is designed to help individuals achieve stabilization, develop coping strategies, and transition successfully to the next stage of care and recovery.

Quannacut Recovery Homes provide safe, supportive housing for individuals in recovery from substance use disorders who are transitioning toward independent living. Located on the East End of Long Island, these recovery residences offer a structured, substance-free environment where residents can strengthen their recovery, build life skills, and access ongoing behavioral health services. With dedicated house managers, peer support, telehealth access, transportation assistance, and connections to outpatient treatment and community resources, Quannacut Recovery Homes help individuals establish a strong foundation for long-term recovery, wellness, and independence.
