ELIH Foundation’s 28th Annual Golf Classic to Benefit SBELIH

January 8, 2020

The Eastern Long Island Hospital (ELIH) Foundation is preparing to host its 28th Annual Golf Classic to benefit Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital (SBELIH). The Classic is scheduled for Monday, June 8, 2020 at North Fork Country Club in Cutchogue.

The day will honor Jack and Maggie Biggane of the Mollie Biggane Melanoma Foundation. The Biggane Family founded The Mollie Biggane Melanoma Foundation in year 2000. Their mission is to increase awareness for melanoma prevention, provide information and services on skin cancer detection and support melanoma patients through education of the latest treatments. This year’s Golf Classic sponsors include Presenting Sponsors Denise and James Martin, Title Sponsor BNB Bank, and Foursome Sponsor Burt’s Reliable.

Golfers have a choice of AM or PM shotgun start. Highlights of the day include a full day of golf with tournament prizes. Both AM and PM golfers are welcome to lunch, cocktails, and dinner, and additionally, AM golfers are welcome to breakfast before teeing off.

2020 Golf Classic sponsorship opportunities include signage on the course, media recognition, pre and post event promotion, and tickets to enjoy cocktails, dinner, and the awards ceremony.

The ELIH Foundation and the Golf Classic Committee— co-chaired by Walter Krupski and David Fujita— are grateful to their sponsors, whose support is vital to the health of the community, and the health of your community hospital. As of July 1, 2019, ELIH officially became SBELIH. However, all of the ELIH Foundation’s philanthropic efforts remain separate from Stony Brook Medicine, and all funds raised by the Foundation solely benefit SBELIH in Greenport.
