Clinical Training Program

Our curriculum emphasizes educational excellence through a dynamic mix of didactic lectures, patient rounds, journal clubs, and case discussions, providing fellows with a comprehensive understanding of addiction medicine and current best practices. A strong interdisciplinary foundation is built through collaboration with psychiatry, primary care, and social work professionals, fostering an integrated approach to care. Fellows will actively engage in research throughout the year and have the opportunity to pursue a dedicated elective month focused on a specialized research project. With a deep commitment to community and population health, the program trains fellows to address health disparities, advocate for equitable care, and manage comorbidities such as HIV and Hepatitis C—ultimately improving patient outcomes and supporting lifelong learning in the evolving field of addiction medicine.
