Last year was challenging, to say the least. Amidst the continued uncertainty, two things have become abundantly clear: Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital remains committed to serving the North Fork and Shelter Island, and our community's support is unwavering. While we have high hopes that 2021 marks the beginning of the end of the global pandemic, we will need your support long after this battle is won.
If you have not yet donated to the ELIH Foundation's Annual Appeal, please consider donating to one of the following causes to support Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital today. Thank you for your consideration and continued generosity.
2021 Care Campaign Annual Appeal
At Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital, we have always taken great pride in our delivery of the highest quality of compassionate care to every patient that crosses our threshold. Funds raised by the “Care Campaign” Annual Appeal support our hospital’s infrastructure, innovative partnerships, and patient care services.
Dr. Carter became a member of the medical staff of Stony Brook Eastern Long Island in April 2001. From that day forward, he was a valued member of the team and became a mentor to many. Dr. Carter was widely respected as Chief of Surgery and Vice Chief of Orthopedic Surgery. With his passing, the North Fork community has lost a loving friend, dedicated surgeon; and trusted physician.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, SBELIH has relied on our community's support to sustain our mission and prepare for the future. While we focus on our own well-being and to work together as a community to seek solutions and the eventual return to normalcy, we must also prepare for a potential surge in COVID-19 cases.
Your gift will support SBELIH's acquisition of the Siemens MAGNETOM Altea 1.5T with BioMatrix, a highly individualized system for MRIs that are precise, comfortable, and fast.
