Provides direct therapy/ counseling alcoholic/chemically addicted patients and their family member. Performs intakes, develops treatment plans and makes referrals as part of a multidisciplinary team and acting with the SBELIH and Quannacut mission, philosophy and goals.
Two (2) years' substance abuse/addiction treatment experience required. One (1) year Inpatient Behavioral health experience preferred.
Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor ("CASAC") required. Basic Life Support ("BLS") and First Aid certification required.
Sufficient mobility to handle department activities. Dexterity of hands and arms (or mechanical substitutes). Adequate vision and hearing to write, answer phones, and communicate with staff, clients and other departments or agencies.
